  14. Place bell peppers on baking sheet
  15. Heat oil in a 3 quart pot
  16. Sear meat chunks
  17. Remove meat, set aside
  18. Fill bottom of pot with red potatoes
  19. Layer cabbage on top of red potatoes
  20. Layer corn on top
  21. Layer carrots on top
  22. Layer onions on top
  23. Layer smashed garlic cloves on top
  24. Add basil, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, allspice, garlic salt, Bay leaves, fresh thyme
  25. Measure beer, note it foams!
  26. Pour beer on top of vegetables
  27. Put cooked meat on top
  28. Cook on medium high for 30 minutes
  29. Add bell peppers
  30. Cook on medium high another 20 to 30 minutes, until potatoes are cooked aka you can pierce them
  31. Remove Bay leaves and discard
  32. Serve on a huge platter (this fills an entire roast pan), seasoning to taste
